All Roads Do Not Lead To God But There Is Hope

Transfiguration-of-Jesus-by-Carl-Bloch

The 19th century painting Transfiguration of Jesus by Carl Bloch

Some people state all roads lead to God. However, that is incorrect. The Bible plainly states of Jesus, who is defined as God “Put no other gods before Me.” The Bible makes clear the only Gods that exist are the Holy Trinity of God the Father,  Son and Holy Spirit.

The Bible makes reference to “gods” that are not real, but forbidden idols people created and mislabled “gods.” It is one of the reasons God forbade His people to intermarry with others of non-Bible religions. God knew that a person in love is sometimes susceptible and swayed by the beliefs or lack thereof of their partner. Some men have turned atheist under the toxic nagging of their faithless girlfriends or wives, who belittled their beliefs, regarding their faith in God. It is a massive sin to destroy someone’s faith in God.

Some men have fallen under the influence of women or friends of other religions who, utilizing peer pressure, sway them away from the Faith and into worshiping “idols” some falsely proclaim are “god.” The Bible forbids this, as a massive sin. It is very wrong to turn away from the true God of the Bible. Let no one convince you to do so.

God (Jesus) makes it clear, His blessing is over His people who believe in Him and those who depart from the faith lose the blessings and favor of God. I implore you to return to the true Gods of the Bible – God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Your blessings in this life and your soul in the next life depend on it. Don’t wait until it is too late, as no one is promised tomorrow. However, through faith in God and changing your ways you are guaranteed heaven.

Life Is Not Always Fair But Have Compassion On Others

job

May 24, 2017

People often maintain the view that life is supposed to be fair. However, life is not always fair. We see tragedies and injustices occur in the world on a regular basis. This is because we do not live in a perfect world. There are some who do the right thing in life and others who do not, which leaves people heartbroken to struggle with the fallout of others’ poor choices.

It brings to mind a Bible phrase, “The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.” Translation: good and bad things happen to good and bad people. Sometimes injustices and tragedy occurs.

There’s another passage that states in life, “He (God) makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” In other words, in life it rains on the good and the bad. Good and bad things happen to good and bad people.

We learn from the story of Job in the Bible that just because bad things happen to someone, it does not mean they deserved it or did something wrong. Job was the most decent person on the face of the earth. The devil hated him for it and sought to destroy Job for being such a good human being.

As a result of this undeserved hatred from the devil, Job lost everything, including his family and became sick (skin sores). Yet, in the midst of it all, his true character came out and it did show Job was indeed a good person.

The next time you see someone going through something, have some compassion.

Beware Of The Shortcuts In Life

success-12-31-16-1

April 30, 2017

Beware of shortcuts in life. The lure of fast cash has been the downfall of many people. People who want fast money dishonestly and lawlessly pay a price for it in life. No exceptions. It’s not worth it when the consequences roll around.

It is the equivalent of building a house on a bad, unsecured foundation, using materials you stole from others, in a structure thrown up quickly by cutting corners and violating legal codes that regulate real estate construction for everyone’s safety. It looks like it is succeeding at first, then it suddenly collapses without warning, turning into a big mess you have to clean up, then rebuild properly.

The ponzi schemer, scammer and or thief that steals money and or assets from others in a scam, in order to get rich and live lavishly, illegally collects fast cash quickly, then gets caught by the long arm of the law. When the inevitable moment of justice arrives, not only do they lose all financial possessions, but their freedom as well to lengthy prison sentences that go on their record. At least they had their freedom and name prior to the scam.

The corrupt business executive engaging in corporate espionage to steal others intellectual property, who is then suddenly arrested, charged, imprisoned and forced to pay fines and restitution that makes the crime completely unprofitable, because their assets are seized to cover the legal judgement. Once again, at least they had their freedom and name prior to the theft.

People sometimes wonder why it seems the wicked financially prosper, while good people struggle. However, in writing about criminal cases and human interest stories online for years, I can assure you people do not get away with robbing and defrauding others. It always catches up with them in some form or another.

Some call it “karma” or “what goes around comes around.” Christians call it, “You reap what you sow.” The suffering, tears and distress people cause in life with their unethical deeds always comes back to them. God sees the pain and suffering and addresses it. Therefore, be good to people. Live your life the right way.

A life done correctly is the smart way to live. Work hard and keep your hands clean. Do not go around stealing from or defrauding others. Do not exploit people. It will catch up to you and often when you least expect it. Change your ways and make amends for the wrong you have done.

Atheists Anger

April 30, 2016

God gives each person free will. This means one can make one’s own choices, which includes whether they want to believe in God. Some atheist rail against and ridicule people for peacefully practicing their religion. It is highly disrespectful and unnecessary. I’ve never understood why some atheists get so worked up, with some becoming sarcastic and ill-tempered towards people who choose to believe in God. Just because someone has a different view from your own does not mean you cannot respect others wishes and be peaceable regarding it.

Learning To Laugh

February 13, 2016

smiling_girl

Laughter is good for the soul. Not fake, contrived laughter, but the appreciation of genuine humor that creates spontaneous laughs. Learning to laugh in life can do wonders for your outlook and health. It improves your emotional and mental state of mind, promoting wellness. When you are happy, the body releases endorphins.

While trouble will come in life, keep them in perspective. Do not fail to appreciate and hold on to the good in life. By all means, do not ignore reality and the challenges you face. However, realize you can conquer these challenges. They are obstacles you can overcome. We must all confront reality and live our lives in a responsible manner, but don’t let troubles define your mood or outlook.

I don’t believe in letting things get me down for long.  I try to keep an optimistic and cheerful disposition.  I read funny items in books and on social networking. I watch comedies, as well as positive films and television shows, about inspiring people and events. I like to see people positively achieve what is considered the impossible. It puts me in a good mood.

Having a positive frame of mind and immersing myself in good thoughts and ideas has repeatedly done wonders for my soul. I focus on the good things I love in life. It gives me strength and inspiration.

To those who are grieving, try to remember the good. Don’t become a fatalist. Life goes on and we have to as well. Take the good memories with you and move forward.

12-Year-Old Girl Testifies Before School Board About Rogue Teacher Who Tried To Force Her To Deny God Exists (Video)

October 31, 2015

12-year-old 7th grade West Memorial Junior High school student, Jordan Wooley, had her rights violated by a her teacher, who is an atheist that ordered her to deny God exists or receive a failing grade in school. This was unlawful conduct on the part of her teacher, as each person has the constitutional right to believe in what they choose.  There is also the “separation of church and state” in America, meaning keep your nose out of other people’s religion and let people choose what they want.

Jordan-Wooley-10-31-15

Jordan Woolery

Woolery was asked to chose what is “fact, assertion or opinion” regarding the sentence, “There is a God.” Woolery marked it as “fact” which is her belief (and mine) and was given a failing grade by her teacher, who had willfully violated the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Jordan-Wooley-10-31-15-2

Jordan Woolery testifying to the school board about her teacher trying to force her to deny the existence of God or receive a failing grade

This was a cruel thing to do to a child (or anyone for that matter) as the Bible instructs adherents not to deny God’s existence or the faith. The teacher in question should be fired for trying to force atheism on a student and causing a child distress.  It was arrogant, out of line, highly disrespectful and deserves to be addressed in a court of law. Said misconduct deserves to be legally struck down in court to avoid repeat occurrences. If you want to deny God’s existence, that’s your business. However, trying to force a child to do the same or you will abuse your post as teacher to punish them is unethical, unbecoming and going too far.  Children are in school to learn. Do not bring unpleasantness, discrimination and bigotry into the classroom.

The Power Of Prayer

May 31, 2014

Prayer-5-31-14

Prayer is powerful. By God’s grace miracles have happened to many who have told stories of the great things God did in answering their prayers. I can attest to this. I’ve prayed for sick people, some who were on death’s door, even administered last rites and God graciously answered and they did not die.

I believe prayer is important. God is never too busy to hear the cares and concerns of your heart. Praying for guidance is also important.  There are so many important decisions to make in life and praying for guidance regarding things such as who to date, marry, what job to take and what city to live in, among other things, is important.

God can open the right doors for you and close the wrong ones, if you pray for guidance. If you have no peace in your heart and soul about a decision, it is probably for a reason. Pray for God to guide you into making the right choice lest you make a choice that  isn’t what’s best for you.

Famous Married Couple Says One Of The Key Ingredients For A Great Marriage Is Sex

April 30, 2014

 duggars-4-30-14-2

Michelle and Bob Duggar

The reality show couple, the Duggars, shared their secrets for a successful, loving 30-year marriage. One of the main secrets is sex, sex and more sex. Apparently, as they have 19 children (LOL). The talented Christian family is headed up by Bob and Michelle Duggar.

Michelle Duggar stated on the Today Show, “Be available. Anyone can fix him lunch, but only one person can meet that physical need of love that he has, and you always need to be available when he calls.”

duggars-4-30-14

In short, don’t deny each other sex. Some women use sex to get what they want and refuse their husband when they do not get their way, but the Bible illustrates it is not a good idea/principle, as temptation can creep into the marriage and cause problems if one or both sexually stray as a result.

Some have the wrong idea about how Christians view sex, based on their own preconceived notions. Sex is for procreation AND recreation in a marriage. God created sex for people to bring children into this world. However, he also created it to be a bond between a husband and wife. There’s nothing wrong with being uninhibited. Your sex life is between you and your spouse and you should seek to make each other happy. Nothing can take the place of love.

The Perils Of Dating Or Marrying Outside The Faith

January 31, 2014

Be Careful Of Relationships And Love Interests That Lure You Away From The Faith And God’s Blessings

Couple_Dancing_2009

Falling in love can be a powerful thing. Sometimes you think it’s love, when it’s lust and infatuation wreaking havoc on your hormones and emotions. Some are so taken with how their love interest looks, they overlook blaring problems in their relationship.

Most people want to date and or marry someone they deem gorgeous, as physical attraction is apart of love. There’s nothing wrong with that. However, being pretty on the outside, but ugly at heart is not good or desirable.

Some relationships are not of God. People sometimes try to force relationships that God never intended. All the signs are there that you two are not compatible and there are significant differences, but focusing on looks, you overlook serious flaws.

God is sending you warning signs that there is trouble ahead, but you’re not paying attention, trying to make something fit that was not meant to be. Stop trying to make a dating relationship work with a person not of the faith that God never intended you to be with.

The Lord would not put you with an unbeliever or someone trying to lead you into another religion. God would not give you someone doing that. As a dating principle, the word of God instructs, “Be not mismated with unbelievers.” This means not dating and or marrying people who are not of the Christian faith, as it is a Bible principle.

There are many examples of believers who have fallen in love and gone off with people who are not Christians and it led to heartbreak, trouble, contention, strife, regret and them straying from their principles and beliefs, to their own detriment.

God put his blessings over your life, do not jeopardize that over a good looking face, with a faithless heart. That’s not God’s plan for your life. God would never do that, as it goes against His word (the Bible). You’ve been lead astray by physical attraction. That’s not real love.

What seemed passionate and exciting at first, becomes a nightmare when the non-Christian you are dating then marry, starts disrespecting and belittling your beliefs and discouraging your hopes and dreams.

Significant problems will arise when they start asking you to compromise what you believe (to suit them). And don’t think you will change them, because you won’t. It will not end well.

Some of you are dating people not of the faith, whom you will marry and they will end up leading you away from the faith and straight into disaster.

God has loved you since you were born. Do not abandon the faith over a pretty face or handsome man, as looks fade, but what’s in the heart never does.

In 10-years (or less) their looks will begin to change (as does everybody’s) and you will be in a marriage that is supposed to be for life, with someone you are not compatible with and the very thing you married them for, their looks, have begun to fade.

Make sure you marry a Christian and one you are truly in love with. To do otherwise will wreak havoc on your marriage and life. When you love and are compatible with someone,  bonded by the faith, even as time goes by, you will still love them. That love will grow. These are the marriages that last.

What happens when you marry a person not of the faith and they try to take over your life and change you into something you are not, wanting you to become something you are not comfortable with. Do you know how aggravating, distressing and upsetting that has been for Christians who have experienced this.

What happens when your faithless significant other tries to raise your children as atheists, to their detriment. What happens when your significant other of another religion tries to raise your children in that religion, rather than Christianity, to their detriment.

The word of God indicates all roads do not lead to God. Are you willing to risk your spiritual well being as well as that of your future children, by marrying someone not of the faith, who will unquestionably try to change your beliefs, offending God in the process.

How will you feel when the person raises your children as unbelievers, instilling pessimism and lack of belief in your offspring. What about your future children’s souls. You should want better for your future children. A life of hope and faith, rich in love, is priceless. It nourishes the soul.

It is and will be the source of arguments and contention, causing you unnecessary pain and frustration in life, all over a physical attraction to someone who is at odds with your faith and the God that made you.

Anyone who would lead you away from the faith doesn’t care about your beliefs or soul nor do they respect you as a person. God would never put you with that person. You are in lust and it is clouding your judgement.

What happens on the other side after you leave this life. What will you tell God regarding having left the faith over an ill-fated relationship He never intended. If you have left the faith, I encourage you to return, as once again, the Bible indicates all roads do not lead to God (only Jesus).

If you are in a dating relationship with a non-Christian, I recommend you end the relationship. It’s going to lead you down a road of regret, as many have found out the hard way.

Pray and ask God to send you the one He intended for you and to confirm it to you in your heart and mind. God does have someone for you. He knows who you are most compatible with, who will compliment you and bring out the best in you. God knows who you will be happiest with – the person who is your ideal mate.

However, God is not going to force His plan for your life on you, as He has given you free will. Choose wisely, as it is important to your life and soul and future of your family.

Christians Constitute Largest Immigrant Group In America

July 31, 2013

Congress

According to a recent Pew report, the majority of U.S. immigrants are Christians and the number of Christians has risen over the past twenty years. Currently, Congress is mulling over an immigration bill that will hugely impact the lives of immigrants in the nation. Some in Congress oppose amnesty, while others seek to lay out a path to citizenship.

Polling and Analysis – Religious Affiliation of U.S. Immigrants: Majority Christian, Rising Share of Other Faiths

…While Christians continue to make up a majority of legal immigrants to the U.S., the estimated share of new legal permanent residents who are Christian declined from 68% in 1992 to 61% in 2012… unauthorized immigrants, by contrast, come primarily from Latin America and the Caribbean, and the overwhelming majority of them – an estimated 83% – are Christian. That share is slightly higher than the percentage of Christians in the U.S. population as a whole (estimated at just under 80% of U.S. residents of all ages, as of 2010). These are among the key findings of a new study by the Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion & Public Life examining recent trends in the geographic origins and religious affiliation of immigrants to the United States.
